I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve donated my hair. Possibly 7! Each time, 8-12 inches had been chopped off! I love my long wavy hair, but do you know what I love more? Knowing I helped a child who needs a custom wig, a child who needs my long hair more than I do.

      Donating hair is free. Sometimes the salon chooses who they donate the hair to. Other times it’s your choice.

      Anytime you are about to cut off 8 or more inches of your grey or colored hair, please don’t assume it’s no good. Find a children’s charity and ask. It takes 11 donations to make one wig. Every lock of hair counts!
